Impromptu Reading Series in Reykjavík: Gladman, Russo, Vogel

June 5, 2012

We held our second Impromptu last night in Reykjavík where local writers and readers exchanged text with American writers Renée Gladman, Linda Russo, and Danielle Vogel. The visiting writers brought crisis, light, syntax,  backyards, and therapeutic 18th-century poetry. Locals shared libraries of water, vowel constraints, mind control, song in the note of ‘nei,’ and rivers of batik.

Thanks to all who came and shared.

Details on the first Impromptu here. Drop me a line if you’d like to be invited to the next one.
